This project, which became a reality in late 2009, was soon able to boast a number of awards and titles. It was the very first walkway which allowed visitors to go for a walk among the treetops. Though years have gone by, it has not lost any of its charm and continues to attract tens of thousands of people every year. The walkway is 1,300 metres long with attractions at elevations of 8 to 25 metres including three activity stations. You can rest assured that the attraction is wheelchair accessible.
The walkway culminates with a 44-metre high viewing tower whose airy wooden structure blends into dozens of age-old trees. The preserved ecosystem of the Bavarian Forest further allows for the connection of the walkway with the forest zoo.
